Opnus’ Fastidiousness toward Craftsmanship

For about 60 years, Opnus has been manufacturing combination locks for vaults and safe locks equipped at most financial institutions in Japan including the Bank of Japan. With the changing of time into the digital and internet age and now with internet bank, manufacturing such locks is no longer Opnus’main activity. This craftsman spirit still continues to live on to date. Applying materials and contrivances to provide long-lasting products and devising ideas to better handle troubled situations, we are committed to providing products with craftsmanship that incorporates abundant technologies and innovations that only true professionals can comprehend.

Our ten-keypad lock “EL-05” and the key with new concepts called “Keykiss” won the Good Design Award in Japan. Moreover, our swing thumb-turn lock, “Patante” was awarded the Good Design Award also: Small and Medium Enterprises Agency Director-General Special Award. We continue to create user-friendly products which help customers sense the new roles of security systems and create new secrity age.
